I just stumbled across a command line combination web browser and editor for the blind called Edbrowse. They say that it's multiplatform and will work under Windows, Linux, Mac and even DOS! Has anyone ever used it, and if so, is it good? Can it be used for editing regular documents or only webpages. I read that it makes pages look different so that they're more accessible. Is this something like what is done with WebbIE?

Cool I want to check that out...I'm curious.

Here's the link. It's a bit complicated and way above my head, because the later versions (2 and 3) need to be compiled, but you may enjoy it and the author is looking for people to help with development. I think, in my case, that I need to download version 1, since that's the one that works on all the systems.
